Coastal cities have long served as hubs of commerce, community, trade, and cultural exchange. Today, as urban populations continue to rise and climate challenges intensify, we find ourselves at a critical crossroads. Home to approximately 37% of the global population, coastal cities are uniquely vulnerable to rising sea levels, resource scarcity, and environmental degradation. As we navigate the pressing issues of climate change, urbanization, and social inequality, the future of our coastal cities depends on our ability to champion sustainable innovations and resilient infrastructure. By doing so, we can ensure these urban centers not only endure but thrive as vibrant, adaptable communities for generations to come.

ABOUT THE SMART COASTAL CITY INNOVATION PROGRAM:
Our 5-week growth program is designed to help early-stage startups and aspiring entrepreneurs internationally to transform their ideas into scalable, market-ready businesses with applications for emerging coastal markets around the world, with a focus on the MENA region.
Through a combination of expert-led workshops, personalized mentorship, and hands-on experience, you’ll learn how to validate your idea, build a robust business model, develop an MVP, pitch to investors, market-entry insights and launch marketing campaigns.
Program Highlights:
Interactive Workshops: Gain insights from seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts through weekly sessions.
(Example topics: Raising investment, blue economy regulations, digital marketing, UAE and KSA market entry)
One-on-one mentorship: Receive tailored guidance to help refine your pitch deck, opportunity insights and growth strategies
Pitch to Investors: Showcase your idea at the end of the program for a chance to secure funding.
